Job Description

ParkLand Ventures Inc., a rapidly growing Property Management company that specializes in acquiring and operating Manufactured Housing Communities, is seeking a self-motivated, organized, goal-oriented individual to join our winning team as a Full-Time Property Maintenance Lead. This position will combine hands-on general repair work and maintenance/grounds tasks as well as supervision of other Maintenance Technicians. A Maintenance Lead takes pride in ensuring that all work is performed in accordance to ParkLand’s quality standards and that our staff is efficiently deployed on appropriate tasks.

Property Maintenance Lead Essential Functions

  • Routine maintenance of rental units and assisting in refurbishing of make-ready homes, including painting, cleaning, light plumbing and light electrical work
  • Grounds keeping duties, including mowing, trimming, picking up trash
  • Responding to on-call maintenance emergencies after hours
  • Ensure other Maintenance Technicians are on task and preforming duties efficiently

Our Property Maintenance Lead typically:

  • Possess expertise and certification in one or more functional areas such as HVAC, electrical work, etc.
  • Are able and willing to work side by side with other Maintenance Technicians on any and all tasks.
  • Ensure that the entire maintenance team is performing its tasks efficiently and effectively.
  • Make sure that all employees are good stewards of the company’s assets – equipment, tools, supplies, etc.
  • Demonstrate to our residents that we care deeply about presenting the most aesthetically pleasing and well maintained community possible.

Medical Benefits available
$14-$16 per hour, depending on experience and certifications

NOW HIRING!! Local multi-family property is seeking a Full-Time candidate to join our team as a Property Maintenance Technician. We are looking for exceptional people to learn and grow with our company. We take pride in our communities and in delivering an exceptional living experience to our residents:
Essential Property Maintenance Functions:

  • Routine maintenance of rental units and assistance in refurbishing of homes, including painting, cleaning, light plumbing and light electrical work
  • Grounds keeping duties including mowing, plowing, trimming, picking up trash
  • Responding to on-call maintenance emergencies (sometimes after hours or weekends)
  • Maintaining a professional courteous manner with all residents, vendors and other staff
  • Assuring compliance with safety standards

Property Maintenance Experience and Requirements:

  • Ability to work independently and willingness to work hard to manage the workload
  • Ability to communicate effectively and to handle a fast-paced, varied work environment
  • Must be organized, self-motivated and have a positive attitude

$10-$13 per hour, depending on experience and certifications

There is a wide variety of repair and maintenance activities that take place at our communities. From rental home repairs to total home refurbishment projects, lawn mowing, grounds beautification and infrastructure upkeep, our Maintenance Technicians perform many critical tasks. Our maintenance staff is very visible to our residents and we take pride demonstrating all the work that we do to keep the property attractive and in good repair.

Typical tasks performed by our Maintenance Technicians include:

  • Lawn care – mowing, weed control, etc.
  • Rental home repairs
  • Home refurbishment projects
  • Basic plumbing maintenance
  • Grounds keeping – beautification projects, litter control, painting, etc.
  • Site preparation
  • Pool monitoring and maintenance

$10-$14 per hour, depending on experience and certifications
